Dispersion
Greetings my dears,
I bring to you my latest set, Dispersion.
In this set I want to pick apart the concept of the dispersion of white light into the spectrum of different colours to refract different angles, and focus on the "chromatic aberration" where this chromatic distortion is the suicidal attempt of the lens in trying to focus all colours to the same point. As seen in a blurry image with rainbow edges in the contrasting areas. This idea, of something not harmonic or not created with the quality and the aesthetic for our eyes, really attracts me into the thinking and the wondering of what our brains interpret as something pleasant to the eyes and as a result of our body sensations. I want to try to emulate these thoughts into poses that could reflect that passage of mediums and sensations and the resulting compilation.
I noticed how this word resembles the word depression, in the structure itself and also within its physics concept. For me it makes me wonder about the Wonderland misty layers of the "mistakes" under the human eye and under the outcast natural selection...
- The camera used was a Sony a6000 and the photos were taken in RAW the set was taken during daylight.
Thank you for your support!
