Solstånd

My way of saying goodbye to this summer, is with this set, SOLSTÅND(solistice).

This set is focused in drastic angled and emotional close ups, however I also want to bring your attention, specially, to the landscape around my body. Some of the spots where I shot, were roughly 1993m above sea level. This set takes you on a journey, where you will wake up in the mountains... then take a sip of water near a waterfall, then dry up near a beautiful field of wheat... and ending the day on yet another glorious hillside by a lake...

This was shot along one of my trips across Serra da Estrela in Portugal, the highest point of the country. Here you'll find a collection of poses in different locations that caught my eye. Each Version has an amalgamation of moments that simply had to be brought to life.

You might are questioning yourself why I chose a Swedish word for this set? well...before this trip I was completely absorbed by my trip to Gotland(an island in Sweden) where I could drink from where one of my favourite directors, that shaped my artistic eye vigorously, had lived... Bergman...! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photoshoot there, but his artwork and what I experienced in Sweden, I carried deeply throughout every pose I did here on this set, and that's why I took this opportunity to homage my summer with the touch of a Sweden solstice.

Here you will find photos on a waterfall; on burned trees; on rocks at a height near 1993m; on lakes that I found while tracking between these hills; and one of my favourite places, on wheat plantations.
